No fish -> No fish poop.

As the title says, I currently have no fish in my 120 gallon reef. While we were on vacation in early August, I had an outbreak of ick and lost all of my fish but 2. I started dosing with Comp. 1/2/3 and all of the appropriate additives when we got back. My corals are doing great. Currently my NO3 is .5 and my PO4 is 1.4. On Saturday I moved my 2 remaining fish into quarantine and the display tank will remain fallow for 76 days (Dec. 2) to make sure the ick is eradicated. What should I be doing to try to maintain some levels of nitrate to feed the corals? I have to add at least a little food so that the shrimp and crabs that are in the tank survive. Is there anything else?

you can either feed corals with fish food, mysid shrimp, dose aminos , or dose actual nitrates .

You can use AF Power Food, AF Energy, AF Vitality, and AF Amino Mix to aid in food sources. As mentioned above, food that is fed that goes uneaten, will most certainly help to lift nitrates. I am personally not a fan of dosing KNO3, but I know other users who have found success with it in Nitrate limited tanks. Cheers

Thank you both. Perry, I'm already dosing all of those in addition to the AF powdered coral food and Reef Frenzy, so I should be good with just that.

Tomorrow is my normal water change day. Should I continue to do weekly 10% changes or can I cut back? I use the AF Reef salt.
