My 55g has been setup for a little over a year now and I haven’t see a single flatworm the entire life of the tank. Is that a bad thing?

Also I have no pods either. I used to have lots in both the display and the fuge but now I don’t see any of them during the day or at night when the lights are off.

Current livestock
Yellow tang
2 phantom clowns
Hawaiian Christmas wrasse
Sand sifting goby
2 cleaner shrimp
1 coral banded shrimp
Lots of hermits and snails.

I have gone years sometimes without seeing a flatworm, sometimes they pop up but the numbers are so low and they are not the intrusive type so you just miss them. Clowns, Wrasses, Hermits are active pod eaters. Give the pods an area to hide out and or offer phyto and the numbers often increase.
