3 months, with no growth. Isn't this suppose to grow like crazy? Light is a Curve by E-shoppe. Any one else use this light? It's been the size of a softball since I've had it here.

My Rose tip split the other day so he's hanging out while I figure out what to do with him.

How are your nutrients? Is there any flow at the bottom there?

Mine withered for a month. Changed from a CPR flourescent refugium fixture to a grow light LED fixture. Chaeto doubled size in a week.

I am wondering if it is the light also. It looks like the anemone is stretching trying to get more light.

Just a slight flow Salty. When I first added the Chaeto, it would float around and spin but now it just lays on the bottom. Which would you try first, Koralia Nano or new light? Also, should I add a sand bed?

Eyeball the flow in the tank if it's not enough for shroom is not enough for chato. I use A tiny 12v pump it's really enough for the job.
A true Dsb will help nutrints but it takes a while and you'll also need flow just like a marine pure bloc in there.

So really whatever is the easy fix around the house I'd say.
When I had Cato trouble it sank. When it was happy it floated.
When I fixed the problem it took less than a week for it to float again.

So if you have a spare pump try it.

F you happen to have yellow or orange gel you can try it on the light. I honestly don't know how good the light is. It seems that would be the most expensive soloution to replace. So me I'd do the last.
