No heater i dont think i need one??

Well ever since my 2 cobalt heaters burned I've noticed the temp still maintains I got a chiller running so now there's less swing in temp from when I had the heaters working do you think I should still get one?

I only run a heater in the winter as I keep the house 68. Summer keep it at 78 so I turn it off.

I would still get a heater, I mean you could probably get away without one but better be safe than sorry

I would imagine you would not need one then. It can snow here in the winter and is 100+ for 4 months in the summer.

When I had the heaters on before the temp would swing 3 degrees at least not there is barely and swing

You could get away without one but have one in the cupboard as a just in case, you can never have to much redundancy

You can always add one & just set it the LOWEST COMFORTABLE TEMP.... So it will only kick in on WORST CASE SCENARIOS.....

Sounds reasonable yes, its not really redundancy if its not in the tank

Having one installed but turned off by Apex would be my move. Then you can just switch it on if ever needed. But it's safe from failing 'on' and cooking the tank all the rest of the time.
