I used to see one or two of these weird whitish-yellow worm/egg looking things
every once in a while but since I have been back from vacation they have spread like crazy. They cover the back side of the rock in my tank. I have absolutely no clue what they are all I can really say is that they shrivel up when I touch them. I would really appreciate who ever could give me some info on what these things are and if they will be problematic in the future

Thanks.

If it were me, I would totally leave them be to see what they'll do. They can be invasive in the ocean, but we typically don't have the nutrients available in our tanks to keep them long term. They sometimes respond to a little extra nutrients and come on strong, and then just kind of die off. I've found them easy to kill. I picked a rock up in the wrong place one time and destroyed a portion with my thumb. They never came back.

If you decide to watch and wait, I would love an update.

Alright thank you! I'll update in the future if anything changes.
