No LFS frustrations

I've never ordered anything online.
I have to see what I'm getting.
I live in north Idaho. We have a very nice,well taken care of petco. All my fish, etc are from there. I have not added anything new to my tank in years, but every time I go in, the cool manager asks if I need anything and would he like me to order anything.
I say take the drive, use the shipping money for gas and food,make a day of it and while in the store, if they don't have it, maybe they can order it for you.
Once they get to know you, you can probably call them in advance.
Just never know until you try.
I will always support an LFS first, no matter what.
Unless they suck.

Where are you at? Im just over the border in Ohio. Great lfs with a great cuc selection. If you want something specific she’ll order it, she orders weekly. I had a gentleman from Sharon PA over Saturday to pick up some frags from me and he goes to my lfs.

Yep! That's probably my favorite place I've been so far granted I've only been to 5 or 6 lol... Is there anywhere else nearby there that's decent? I also had some nice finds at exotic fish and pet in Reading

This is super relatable. I just drove 45mins each way to get a total of 7 snails! I tried an order from reefcleaners but it was a terrible experience and just about everything died. I'm going to just keep my tank a little extra snail stocked and pick up one or two every time I make the trip to that area. At least with the drive they will be alive
