Hi reefers. I’ve been lurking for some time and up until now have found all the answers to my questions.

I started an IM 25 Lagoon just over 3 months ago. It has been coming along nicely. Friday I added my first coral frag, a nice little acan. It has been looking great, but I’ve been keeping my eye on this tub looking feature near its base. Today I saw something poking out of it. My initial thought was aptasia, but after searching different posts here I’m thinking some sort of feather duster. It retracts with changes of light and when fish swim by. What do you guys think? It’s super small and appears to have maybe two heads.

Welcome to R2R! Thanks for stepping out of the shadows. This really is a great place to engage!

Welcome home, you will love it here!

I can’t tell if it’s a small zoa or a parasitic anemone. Small majanos look about like that.
