2nd try at green candycane in my 10 fusion...all perameters are good...on front wall, med. to bright light...green seems to be slowly peeling off...PO4=.25, NO3=0, KH=8, Cal=420, pH=7.8...pretty stable for months...IDEAS WELCOME...:(

Peeling off? When ever I tried to use GFO my candy cane shriveled up nearly to the bone. And I'm talking about one tablespoon in a n Aqua clear in a jbj 28 cube and then my 30 cube.
The second way I almost kill my candy cane is it mine likes bluer light. In the 30 I changed to a 14 k bulb. It hated it frogspawn too. Changed to a Maxspect razor 15k. Hated it put in the DT under cooler light. Yes same intensity of light I uses a meter.
Now it has recovered has Xenia shadowing it slightly and has finally spilt.
I have been unsuccessfully trying to kill these for close to two years now appearantly.

Mine was very temperamental with my flow and light. I had to move it down to Sandbed and all the way to side of tank almost directly under gyre pump for low flow. After that, it's started to blow up. It also does well when my trates are a little higher (5 or so).
Top down pic to show them now.
