My poor little yellow goby met is demise today very sad had it for awhile now I have decided No more gobys for a 40 gallon tank thinking of getting a pink streaked wrasse

I had the same problem he found the smaller opening on my lid. Now with a drilled tank I just have screen on top and my pink spotted goby has been fine. However I had a yellow one he was super jumpy

Thing is gobys are so cool just wish they didn’t feel the need to jump out of my tank but at least I’ve got a starry blenny that has one heck of a personality

Do you have a lid on your tank?

Love my Pink Streaked Wrasse but its personality is much more subdued that the goby. But it is much more active and out and about. Very peaceful fish.

Sorry for the loss, I'd hate to lose my YWG. And the pistol shrimp would be completely lost.

You would think a fish that spends 99% of his time would be among the least likely to jump but with Gobies you would be wrong. They may be the only group of fish that jumps more than wrasses.

Sorry for your loss!
