It’s been a few months without LRS Frozen Foods in the LFS.

Why?

Now there’s only Rod's food which I find is too fine and mainly feeds the filter socks.

LRS was my favorite brand, and I watched it dwindle to no more stock.

Is anyone else in the same boat as me?

How do I get LRS if there are none in Miami?

I really want to keep feeding LRS...

Is there an online place that ships LRS?

Premium Aquatics sells LRS. But you’ll have to pay for overnight.
Ha. I just looked online, and I found premium aquatics had it, so I purchased 5.

Yes, shipping was expensive, but I really like LRS, so it was worth it. I like how it is frozen but also nutritionally dense.

Drive to Orlando? :)
Hmm. That‘s a 4 hour's drive. Maybe I’ll save a significant amount and go on a spending spree when I decide to go there, lol.

I first gotta finish my 5 packs of LRS Fish Frenzy!! :D

Nope. Might I steer you to Premium Aquatics? I buy in bulk and it arrives every time to my door as if I personally went to the LFS and picked it out. Amazing how well they package it and get it to my door in the most excellent condition. I only buy from them as the few LFS stores near me who carry it always have questionable quality. The care just isn't there for whatever reason.

PA though - they know how to pack frozen goods to get to you. Try it. Thank me later.

Edit: see you found it. Just buy in bulk to manage shipping cost. Also know they are not Amazon or any other subsidized two ton heavy thing. So just ignore it.

How much is shipping?

May be the store itself. LRS is plentiful
Contact Larry at LRS via email and he can tell you who in your area carries it

The shipping was $29.99. Not terrible, but it was more than the price of another pack of Fish Frenzy.

Sounds like you solved the problem, but I'm curious if you asked your local stores why they no longer carry it... Maybe the demand was low but if they know they have a customer they'd order it again.
I did ask, but they gave a weird answer that I couldn’t remember. I think the LFS said they would need to buy a large bulk amount. I don’t know. I simply said, “ok.”

4 out of 4 stores in Miami that I go to stopped. I will consider contacting LRS. I am surprised that many people still get LRS in their area.

Or hit up your local grocery…get a mix of clams, mussels, scallops, shrimp and cod, blender it and you got months worth of food at a fraction of the cost.
My family finds the smell of LRS putrid. I can’t imagine blending it in the house (I luckily don’t have a working sense of smell, haha).

I wouldn't be surprised. LFS rotate, carry what people buy, etc. No need to let things go bad. Maybe they also didn't store it properly.

You found a source and wait till you see it. Packaged exceptional well and in excellent condition. Just like as if you would pick it up yourself. Shipping cost is a moot point. If it is a concern drop a couple days worth of latte's ;)

The closest store that carries lrs is more than an hour away. I had to start diy food. So far so good and I think it's just as good. But it does take so time and planning.
