No name Acropora - help with species name?

I like to buy c grade corals because they’re cheap and fun to grow. And there’s really beauty and every single coral, especially SPS.

I’m looking to get a Coral ID - species name if possible. Or t name.

Description - It’s growing like a thick stag, The Grove margins on the very tip in white light is very stark white with a hint of blue, The body has pinkish brown on the active growing sections, The base is a olive green. The coral polyps are short and purple.

Photos - The photos that are attached are when I got it on April 3 And a picture of it today. I took this under my Reef-Fi Uno, no filter on an iPhone 13 Pro. The photos were edit Ted to make them as close as what it looks like to my eye. Pressed magic mode and touched up the warmth to represent what it looks like in real life. They are pretty close.

That one looks just like RR Pink Cadillac. I’ve seen the pink caddy referred to as a. microclados - maybe others can verify?

i really appreciate the reply. I have to agree as well, though the pics I found online are much more flattering.

Any advice? — When I purchased this, it was completely brown. I run a full spectrum with Reefi-UNO, ramp blue mornings, and for about 4 hours it drifts completely blue by end of day.

I am currently upping my nitrates through amino acid dosing. I hope that will draw some of those colors out.

Honestly your colors are already looking pretty good dont go chasing those colors too much. almost everyone ups the contrast so their corals look as good as possible

When you see those pics online, look at the rock and algae around the coral, not the coral itself. You'll see pretty quickly that a lot of those photos have tweaked contrast, making the coral pop more. It also makes the algae look weird. Compare the coraline in those pictures to the coraline you have in person, and you should get an idea of how much the photo has been changed.

Yep, don’t go chasing waterfalls. I know I should be able to get a little more out of all of my corals color wise once I can get my nitrate above 5 ppm. I’ve been at zero for a bit. Finally noticed my chaeto dying so I removed the whole ball.
