I have a 75 gal with 20lbs live rock
40lbs live sand. 1 clown 2 firefish
About 10 snails 10 hermits
1shrimp
I feed and a lot looks uneaten and falls. I thought after a couple months i would see some ammonia or nitrates every now and then....why nothing? I want to add 20 more lbs of rock thats been curing, It quit producing ammonia 5 days ago.

Well how much are you really feeding? a 75 is a substantial amount of water volume and you have 3 small fish in it so i don't think theres much your current filtration can't handle..

Not all Live rock will cause a spike in ammonia and nitrates. If you dont add 20 pounds of rock covered in dieing sponges you should be fine. If youve already cured it then no worries at all, provided you dont let it dry out over night. :)
