So my buddy has a little 14 gallon biocube. I went to his place and it looked so bad. This light brown slime algae growing all over his corals and killing them. I took some water home and tested it. The nitrate and phosphate are both zero. He does feed very little so this makes sense. I just don’t get how this algae would be growing with so little food being added. His tank is all softies so I didn’t bother to test mag, cal, or alk. Thoughts?

Thanks,
