Or underdose...the chemistry of these tests isn't clear to me. If the Salifert only ranges to 1ppm, can you do a serial dilution to get the reading back on scale, or does the way the copper is bound to the amine make the test not work? IDK - I got a C- in chemistry (grin).

Fair point, thanksMight want to skip antibiotics unless you have a confirmed infection. They are actively harmful to the fish's health (as they are to ours). But kudos to you for such a strict regiment

Sorry for the loss and the difficulty you've had with this beautiful tang.
Hope your tang keeps eating. Young ones eat a lot of meaty foods. As they grow they tend more towards the seaweeds. If you are interested, read through the Fish Nutrition post.

Glad you got the Hanna Copper Colorimeter Checker. It's the high range one, right? You will probably need 1 or 2 sets of the reagents.
