No phosphates nitrates or nitries

So ive been being told that 0 nitrates, nitrites, and phosphate was bad. Why is it and how can i fix this little issue?

Nitrites are irrelevant in reefing. To increase the others, feed more fish and coral food or dose neophos and neonitro if needed.

It can be bad. It can open the door to Dino's which can be difficult to rid your tank of. Make certain your tests have enough resolution to test for low levels.


This is generally a problem for people who started with dry rock.


You can raise with things like neonitro and neophos, diy solutions or feeding more.
