I placed an order for pods at AlgaeBarn and it was supposed to come yesterday. Its still not at the PO BOX today. When I check the tracking, all I get is this message "In Transit to Next Facility
Your package is moving within the USPS network and is on track to be delivered to its final destination. It is currently in transit to the next facility." I know its probably stalled because of the covid19 thing, but Im just wondering how can the pods survive? Or am I screwed to just end up with dead pods.

I think your title is confusing, maybe "POD order shipping delay" would be get you more accurate responses.

@AlgaeBarn has great customer service. Try giving them a call- you wont "get screwed" :)

How long has the package been in transit? I believe you can refrigrate a bottle so they wont die right away. chances are good they will be just fine.

Pods are very hardy I ship them regular mail with no problems. Frozen will kill them but they do okay in cold they will include a heat pack most likely.

What really sucks is when you have to sign for a package, you never know when they are coming so unless you work from home you are screwed.
Then you get to go pick your package up the next day.

Usually if you have an account with the shipper (DHL, UPS, etc) you can sign virtually, or print out something to put on your door.

i checked there site out and looks like its 45 bucks for a jar. Seems kinda high? Am i wrong or is that about right?
We do mixed species, multijar discounts, free shipping at $40, 10% reward points, and our amazing AOA policy and live support. We are the best value :)

If they arrive DOA, we will replace them free of charge (you won't even have to pay replacement shipping). We got you covered. Please let us know how they arrive and we will get you taken care of.

I noticed a USPS order I did through amazon last week supposed to get it Tuesday this week, says it arrived at my post office on Wednesday and it is now Friday...I even got the Amazon email that I could refund. I'll get it...maybe tomorrow, at least it isn't a perishable item.

All couriers are not guaranteeing delivery times anymore starting today or recently.
