No Pods in ATS

So I decided to bring my ATS back online and today was the first cleaning and upon inspection I noticed that the GHA had no pod life in it whatsoever. Was really looking forward to having the added pod boost again but very disappointed. Does anyone know what could be the cause of this? thanks

Need more info on your system really. What have you dosed and what livestock is in your tank.

Its a 40 breeder tank with only two damsels but I do feed heavily, but keep nitrates at 5-10. No dosing apart from kalk at 1tsp per gallon at a evaporation rate of about 1 gallon a day. I have a live rock chamber right after the ATS and it is slam packed with pods but never can find any in the GHA for some reason.

Do you have a screen or cloth before the pump? And you should of course check out the tank at night.
I keep a couple favorite rocks I bring back and forth from the fuge sump up to the display. I do the same thing with Chato if the DT starts looking low on pods.
I have mandarins so I keep it pretty stocked. That seems keep them flowing through the system.
If it just came on it might not be tasty yet.

I do not use a screen and i check the algae after cleaning the scrubber and find nothing. I just seeded it with some that i sucked up through a baster and will se if that helps.

Yea weird. How long was it off line? And when did you bring it back?
By tasty I do mean there's nothing they prefer to eat yet in the algae yet. If the algae was decomposing it's excreting something the pods find objectionable. I'd guess the former.
Wow. baster full of pods? I'm jealous.

it was off for about 2 weeks but i restarted and within a week its been back to its old growth of having to be cleaned one a week. i wish the baster was full but i got at least 20-30 in one go.
