Hi, I found this snail in my reef tank to walk over an sps coral. At the last days i have found 3 of them. Did anyone knows if this snail is reef safe or what it is??? Thanks

No its defenantly no bubble snail

My other guess would be Engina zonalis or something real close. They look really similar including the ridges in the shell.

Guys i found some information the snail belongs to the engina zonalis spices but is not reef safe. it's called engina zonalis whelk and it's a predator. and i have just lost a deep acropora by this snail i think.

See at the following link

and here is my acro it looks like something walk on her and eat in a line like snails do....

The site you linked stated that whelk is a snail predator, so it sounds like it doesn’t eat Corals... but who knows. We all know that each individual animal behaves uniquely. Either way, I’d get it out ASAP.

They are too much in my tank i took out some with my hant but every day i see more and i can't catch them all. I must found a predator for the predators....
