Hello everyone I’m new here this is my first time ever on a form I figured I’d give it a try so I’m not sure if I’m writing this on the correct spot anyhow I need some help endorsing no po-x
It’s going to be on the XXL Redsea 750 Which they call it the 200 gallon something clued it I read that you start very low by half if I’m correct I want to be able to know how much to Dallas nitrate levels are high if anyone is familiar with the API nitrates it’s close to the One before last or the last one.I know I have to keep running the protein skimmer.Any info will help thanks

Sorry I wasn’t sure if you got all that I was trying to edit I wasn’t finished and I press something that I want shouldn’t what I was trying to say is that I’m really not concerned with the phosphate part of it I’m more concerned with the nitrates according to the API nitrate test I’m anywhere from 40 ppm-160ppm

Well, NoPox works great on nitrate. I’d be careful though as you can bottom out your nitrate and create an ideal environment for Dino. Go for half recommended dose and test often.

I would think you want to check po4 because without any phosphates the nopx isn't going to reduce nitrates. I learned the hard way, 40ml a day on my 300G after 4 weeks did nothing to lower my nitrates from 50. Turns out I had a major nutrient imbalance and po4 was extremely low. I believe the typical carbon dose product requires both to be effective (along with a skimmer).

Hi I would really appreciate if you got back to me and thanks for your help OK so I did test my phosphate according to the API test I am at 2.0 ppm’s in on the nitrates I’m a little above 80 Ppm
