that depends. what type of tank do you have and are the Red Sea target numbers for NO3 and PO4 what you want?

did you read the directions? The chart is for 25 gallons of actual water volume

You also need to keep weekly testing to monitor for when your tank is within the target range and cut back on the daily dosing

Yes, test and calibrate. I would suggest getting a doser, then spread the dose out and you will tune the system much faster without missing doses.

You also need to ‘wet skim’ when using Nopox as well to make it more effective. The ideal skim mate colour is like weak tea (but don’t try it! Lol)

If you get any white slim (bacterial blooms) just back off on the dose a little.

Nopox is a very powerful tool and it’s just a matter of balancing it out to your system so any increases should be slow like 1 ml per day extra per week at a time until you get everything balanced and the bacteria population in place and doing it’s job.

You may find over time it won’t control phosphate enough depending on your bioload etc., so many of us also use a GFO in combination (despite what the instructions say) personally I use rhowaphos in a reactor.
