no3po4x + phosphate rx

hey guys,

ive being dosing no3po4x for 3 weeks and recently found a new item for po4 which is phosphate rx. is it possible to use both at same time without issues? pls advice tq

I'm not a carbon doser but my understanding is that you need both po4 and no3 for it to work effectively. Po4RX will quickly precipitate out your po4 so the nopox would not likely lower no3.

That's my understanding anyway let's see what the pros have to say

If phosphate is higher than you want, it is fine and appropriate to use another product. Carbon dosing often does not do much for phosphate. Just don’t drive it too low.
