These are my old Wyoming whites I had and one of the biggest things I miss about my old tank, so I had to get another pair.

Beautiful fish!

I saw this guy at petco for over 2 weeks doing good and my kid really wanted him. I only plan on adding three tangs and this is a very small powder blue, so I'm not worried about aggression since the other two tangs I'm gonna get will be med/ large. Treated with ttm and prazipro.

Really happy with my pod order from aquarium depot. All seemed to be alive even though usps was a day late and it's snowing outside.

So after qt'ing this guy I started acclimating him to main tank salinity. As I was pulling water out of the bucket I was using to acclimate him, I accidentally pulled him out and poured him into the sink. I didnt realize I did it for about 10 minutes. I thought he jumped out of the bucket and was already mad at my cat for eating him. I got him out of the disposal and put him into the DT. I cant believe I did this, and I also cant believe he's doing fine now.

Holy ****, that's scenario is a thing of nightmares. I'm glad he's doing good!

So I don't want to alarm you or make this into something big, but unless you're using a dedicated utility sink your fish may have been exposed to cleaning chemicals/etc. Did you take him out of the disposal and plop him directly into your DT or transfer him into a bucket of water first?

Again, no reason for undue speculation, but I figured It's worth mentioning.

I rinsed the dirt off him in the bucket, but didn't even think about soap. Everything seems to be good though. Happened Friday.

It's a calcium reactor. Hard to tell since I haven't put it together yet.

Ooooo! Is your uptake that high at the moment? I've been thinking about just jumping to a calc reactor vs two part.

No, I'm only at about 10ml of alk a day. Just thought I'd get it early to play around with it. Probably be a few months before I put it online. Probably get 10-15 more sps frags in a couple weeks.

Keep me updated. How are you dosing alk/calc now?

They are all doing great so far, but I need more. Having a hard time keeping nutrients off 0.
The dry rock is soaking it up. I would start to dose NeoNitro and NeoPhos to get the N03 and P04 above 0.
