Has anyone seen this phonominom? I rescaped and moved a rock to the top of the tank. There was a few large Kenya trees I knew would be displeased with the intense lighting. Its been about three months and they shrink up all day long and open up fully all night long.

They can be just as unhappy with sunburn as we are.

One of the easiest ways to tell if a soft Coral has too much light.

You can gently rip them right off the rock and put them back someplace lower.
LFS does this all the time.
"I've never needed to buy another one after the first batch."

The remains of the feet will still exist and wil probably grow back acclimated to that location, or it may still be too bright.
