Noisey Drain due to Horizontal Run?

I have two 1" drain lines. They both have a tee and cap with holes drilled but still make gurgling noise. It's seems like it's coming from water splashing into the 90 just below the tee and sucking air down there. If I want to stop it should I eliminate the horizontal portion? I'm planning to redo the plumbing anyways.

Also I'm also tempted to put a 90 on the inside of one of the drains pointing up to make it a back up drain and putting a valve on the main drain. Kind of like a herbie overflow. Curious others thoughts.

Your not going to get rid of the gurgling unless you are running a full siphon. The air water mixture traveling down your pipes is the problem.

I'm with Tonycass12, if it's a gurgling sound. If it's a flushing sound, the horizontal run you have may be filling with water and not draining until there's enough drain pressure from above.

Okay. Maybe in the future I'll see about separating the drains and making one full siphon and the other back up. Thanks.
