I have a eshopps pf1200 that I have set up. It's noisy. How do you get the gurgling sound to go away? Is that possible.

Could use a filter sock if the noise is from bottom of tank if the noise is from the top of the tank you could possibly fill the tank up a little more.. so the water is constantly flowing.. cut the pipe down.. or even put a stronger return pump on to put more water in the top tank..

Is it like a flushing gurgle? Take a piece of air line tubing and start it down the pipe. It needs air flow down there.

How far beneath the water line in the sump does the drain pipe go?

Thanks rayn! Worked instantly! Overflow is significantly quieter. Now if only my pump was that easy?

Jimbo662. The pipe drains directly into my skimmer compartment. 4 to 5 inches below the water line.

Most end the drain about an inch or so below the waterline when the system is running. With it 4-5 inches it make it harder for the system to purge all the air from the drain lines.
