I dont have any issues like this with my mp10 QD but my original mp10w has a missing bushing where the shaft fits into the impeller guard and makes the noise you describe. I only get it to go away running the pump in constant speed mode and repositioning the wetside until its silent
Update no bushing. This may or may not have been on a different pump i took apart now that im thinking. If you remove the 3 tabs on the base the whole mag pops off with the impeller you can get a real good look at the shaft. I just took mine apart to check and re assembled. No noise. Hopefully ETM will take care of ya. Still running one of my original mp10s from 2012 no noise either. Even diy bearing replacements available for dryside later down the road!
Sweet! That is great CS on their part. Glad it got sorted out. Im sure youll love it in the long run.Thank you for checking!
I talked to them today, very impressed. I sent them some pictures and a video of the noise and I got an email back almost immediately. They are sending me a brand new wetside and said I can just keep the one I have now for extra parts.
Hopefully this new one works out.
