Mexican Turbo and Kole tang (My fox face hardly ever hate my hair algae)

I know its not part of the vote but Dolabella Sea Hare was the best I've had in terms of algae eater.

Tomini Bristle Tooth - he's lawn mower, just wish he wasn't such a jerk to new arrivals though.

Astrea snail for rock work, turbos are just too big. mine had to get re-homed- he was a bulldozer and damaged a few frags.

Trochus and most tangs... Currently my yellow is probably doing the most...

Tomini Tang (there are other tangs that are about the same at algae control... I just think Tomini look nicer in the tank) and small Trochus Snail (although I believe that snails in general are far less effective algae eaters than Urchins).

Any tang, Mexican turbos, but the best are tuxedo urchins. These bad boys leave a trail of white behind.

My duo on a smaller reef like mine is a foxface and turbo snails. or a yellow tang and astrea snails.

Foxface and any tang you like. Urchins urchins urchins.

Brace yourselves for this next one.....

Snails are worthless. You don’t need any

I have spoken.

I love urchins, I agree but help me. Long tentacles grow so fast and so big, but tuxedo urchins knocked everything off my live rock??? Killed a few LPS and an SPS laying in the sand. Snails are slow and die off.

Trochas snail and purple tang. Two of my must haves for a larger tank.

Kole Tang and Mexican Turbo. Those turbos are non stop.

Not a fish nor a snail, can't beat a Halloween Urchin!
I got a tuxedo urchin before but my hermit crabs turned it over and ate it so I’ve never gotten another urchin. Is this common?

Tomini tang Pin Cushion Sea Urchin. That thing cleared all the algae in my tank. Rocks look brand new

Fox face ? I thought they might nip on corals ... so are they actually ok with all kinds of corals ?

I have a blotched foxface that's been a model citizen. I keep it fat on algae and nori as well as the meat it grabs when I feed the rest of the inhabitants.

I like the banded Trochus snails, I have a few turbos but have to trade them pretty frequently because of their growth. The Trochus snails are voracious eaters and don’t knock frags over like urchins or turbos. also have Nerite and 25 or so blue and red leg hermit crabs. I have a purple, hippo, and yellow tang. The yellow does the most work but is a jerk.

Cerith snail & lawnmower blenny (never had one but heard great things about them)
