Hi reefers.

I’m almost done my cycling and looking for which corals would be good for a Nano tank?

I have the Fluval evo 13.5, with live sand and live rock there’s about 12 gallons of water volume.

Which are some non invasive corals that are easy to take care for? There’s a lot of corals I read and hear about that grow way out of control and take over the tank.

I want corals to grow and get bigger but hopefully there’s ones that don’t get too out of control and grow to big for a Nano.

Thoughts? Advice?

Duncans, trumpet coral, blastomussa, micromussa for a few lps

Some mushrooms(usually the more desirable ones), toadstool leather for a couple softies

Some fancier zoas shouldn’t be of any worry either, and they are usually quite simple to keep. Others I’d recommend include everything already listed along with: Euphyllia, Favia, brains, chalices, and/or montipora (when you’re ready to jump into some sps).

A bright red montipora cap always make a nano tank pop

Here’s my 24 gallon. Red, green and purple montiporas in the middle but the red one is taking over
