Does anyone know if Non-Photosynthetic edit: anemones are a thing? Just one of my random thoughts

There are several non-photosynthetic corals - tubastrea (sun corals), gorgonians, etc.

Example: Sun Coral
lol thanks but I meant anemones. I don't know why I made the title right but the actual post I said corals. Edited
 
There sure are, in the subtropical waters of south africa( i live here) we have many varieties of non photosynthetic anemones.
 
Tube Anemones and cold water anemones are all non-photosynthetic.

Nice. Thanks for the info, maybe if I add that to Google I'll find more info. Plus I want to visit Africa too one day.

Thanks. I never even heard of non tropical anemones so I'm adding it to my list..at this point I might actually have to write them down because my mind becoming cluttered, lol
