Is there any reason to use RO for fish quarantine water changes? I’ve been having to go refill jugs from the LFS for water changes on my fish QT. I have Prime to condition the water in my freshwater tank, would this/aging the water be fine for fish QT or does it also need to be RO like the rest of my stuff?

I would even highly recommend RODI. I think it is quite important and especially when you have some fish coming in that they are in the best water you can get. They are not waiting for more stress when they are moved from their home to a bag followed by quite some stressful consitions like copper and hyposalinity.

Treat yourQT as you would treat your DT.

Get an RODI filter whenever you can :)

I would definitely use RODI water as a starting point for saltwater. But if it’s easier you could do water changes by taking water from your DT and moving to your QT. So basically let’s say you take out 2G from your QT and replace it with 2G from your DT. Add 2G of fresh saltwater to your DT. If you have an ATO make sure to turn it off first!
