A bit of backround:
90 Gallon long
2 coralbox QP-9 powerheads (reef mode) (max of 2350 GPH each)
return pump is ~1000 GPH

I have some xenia, but the problem is that the flow is really high for a soft coral. They are never open. Will it ever get used to it?
Also, what about an anemone? Would it never open in 66x flow?

Most corals will adapt to a LOT of flow, the type of flow is most important. I have an MP40 and Jebao wavemaker pump in my 40b, along with the return. I have mostly LPS (hammers, frogspawn, galaxia, torch, Duncan's, etc) and they all do well despite being "medium flow" corals. I also have 2 x BTA and 2 x Haddoni anemones. The trick for me is to not blast the corals with direct flow, instead I have the pumps aimed toward the surface or pointed at the glass. This helps to move water and give good random water flow without hitting the coral with direct flow.
