are there any 120 gal aquariums made with non tempered glass on the back? My LFS says no but they also didn’t look around. I would like to drill one for a ghost overflow. Thanks for all your help.

I would ask another LFS that knows what they are talking about. I would say there are plenty of 120s out there without tempered glass on the back. Typically, manufacturers mostly use tempered glass on the bottoms, if at all. You can check for yourself, using a laptop screen and a pair of polarized sunglasses. There are loads of videos on YouTube showing how to do this. If you don't have a tank yet to check, find one you like and contact the manufacturer before purchasing.

Pretty sure Glass Cages does not use tempered glass unless specially requested.

I have a few marineland 120 4x2x2 only bottom is tempered and the same with the 120 long

Awesome thank you all for the responses that is exactly what I was thinking.

Yep, drilled the back of a ML120 without issue.
