It seems salt water tanks fall into three categories: fish only + pile of rocks, pile of rocks with coral, spindly artifical rocks with little frags. I'm dying for someone to discover the reefing equivalent of freshwater mountain aquascapes. You know, those guys that build minature models of stonehedge or the hallelujah mountains in their aquariums. Who's going to come up with something like that for the salty side? What non-traditional aquascapes might work?

I prefer the look of putting small SPS frags in and letting them grow naturally into your rockwork. It’s a labor of love but the fruits of your labor are going to be great. Pics never do tanks justice IMO.

Mines definitely not just a pile of rocks, lol

I've been thinking of a resin xenomorph skull feature embedded in my scape, maybe even with some leds for dramatic effect but I never followed through.
Still present in the back of my mind though...
