Noob looking for Triton sump advice

I have checked them out however they are almost impossible to get ahold of at this point plus with a 96” tank I need two 48” fixtures which have to be suspended leaving two sets of wires running through the middle of my TV lol. Plus the mounting locations for the Kessil’s on the fixture is setup to run 6 a360’s just not sure I really need 6 plus the T5’s lol

I’ve been hearing a lot of bad things about the Kessils burning out just past there warranty point from my LFS. Around the 2 year mark. Why don’t you go with some radions? Can’t go wrong with radions. That’s what I’m using in my setup.

I really like the shimmer the Kessils put out as well as kessil’s logic that keeps your spectrum optimized regardless of your color settings. I wonder honestly if the failures aren’t caused by poor maintenance habits because you have to clean the cooling fans and heat sinks periodically or else they will run hot and be a 400 dollar paper weight at the end of two years.

I’m running hydras.. similar price point but overall a stronger light! You get a nice shimmer too and paired with the t5s I will have plenty of light and par for my sps to thrive

If you open up a Kessil the components are all glued over so you can’t take anything apart or reverse engineer it if something fails on the light. I personally don’t think it has anything to do with people not maintaining the light properly. I feel my LFS knows best as they deal with this type of thing regularly. They don’t seem to have any problem with any other of the LED lights on the market. Plus everyone is always selling there Kessils I’ve noticed. Not sure why though.
