So I am new to the hobby, and super excited to see all the colorful Zoas that you could put in your tank, but I have what I feel is a pretty dumb question. I have a rock that has what my LFS has stated as a Paly/Zoa. I am unclear what if any difference there is. It seems like every picture I look at the Zoa looks like it's attached directly to a rock/plug without any stem and they seem to be super close together. Mine are pretty much the opposite. I attached a picture of mine if it helps. Anyway, I was hoping someone could straighten me out here. Thanks in advance for your help/feedback.

I have a set of zoas that actually stretched there stems just because I had bad lighting. They were trying to get closer to the light. As soon as I switched out my bulbs they went back down to the rock. What type of lighting are you using?
