Noob question

i have a large colony of different colors if i frag them will they grow larger in size or always stay small most of them are a little bigger than a pencil eraser?

I would say stay the same size. I have done the same and they just multiply and remain the same size.

The deepwater zoos tend to be smaller and palythoas are a larger looking zoanthid

different zoas different size. I have some that are small like yours then I have Paly Grandis which are bigger then quarter.

It all depends on what kind it is

There are palys are bigger and zoas are smaller ,imo I think zoas grow better when nitrates are higher

Some polyps love Nutrients ( not nitrates/nitrites/phos ) but nutrient ( food ) in the water. Not all polyps are alike, some love high light, low light, high flow, low flow etc etc. but some can get as large as a half dollar coin. case example some grandis.
