I bought this coral from my LFS and they told me it was a Candycane, but the more I look I'm wondering if it's a Blasto. Are they correct?

Definitely a blasto! the polyps look small in the photo and if thats the case it could be Blastomussa merletti, If the heads are closer to the size of quarter or larger then its probably Blastomussa welsi.

Aslo don't beat yourself up over not knowing what kinds of corals your dealing with- I've been reading up on saltwater for years and I still can't help everyone in the "ID my coral" threads. Heres a video with quite a bit of information on them (and if you want to get better with knowing corals Tidal gardens other coral videos are also very informative).

Thanks everyone. It started a lot smaller. Only had four polyps. More are growing again. Biggest one is about quarter size, rest are smaller. Been feeding it Mysis and reef roids. Just feel a little silly since been telling people it was a candy cane. Payed $15 for it, think that’s good. Also learned that not to always trust the LFS to know what they are selling. They also sold me Galaxia saying they didnt know what it was. Thanks to you guys, it is on its own little island being happy away from everyone else. You guys are the best!
