Hello everyone,

I was using an AquaticBuddyRO because apartment life. But when I got a new place, I bought a used 4 stage system.

Its pretty much the exact one in the link (Abundantflow) is written on the metal of it. It SEEMS to be simple enough. I have done a bit of reading and I haven't been happy with its service, but I suspect mine is shot. Here is what I have:

Water goes in -> TDS meter in reader - > Sediment Filter -> Carbon Filter -> Goes through this funky block looking thing, then into the membrane.
The waste-water out of the membrane goes through a 90 degree valve that I believe is used for flushing.
The 'good' water goes out of the membrane -> DI Resin -> TDS meter 'out' -> bucket.

Since getting it, I replaced the DI, Sediment, and Carbon filter, as they were old and grungy. The DI resin was used up. However I'm producing water at about 5-6 TDS, so I think the membrane is the issue.

With the history out of the way!

I have a few simple queries:
1) I want to use my old Aquabuddie Membrane/housing to make this dual stage to try and save some water. I'm in Canadaland, so its expensive to get state-side things shipped up. What parts are required? I've got a whole bunch of old fittings and hosing around, just not sure how easy it is to add a dual membrane. Seems like I just plug the wastewater out of my current one into the 'in' on the 2nd membrane, and dump the wastewater from there. Do you just join the two membranes 'filtered water together with a T-connector? Is there any sort of check valve needed for this?
2) I can't find any form of a flow restrictor on this system. Is this normal?
