I don't think there's an english version. That being said, I haven't had any issues with it or figuring it out. I use the "AP version" for connectivity and just connect to it with my phone when I want to adjust my lighting settings. What do people think of the Noopsyche app? All the screenshots I've seen everything in the app is written in Chinese. Is there an English version?
For me (iphone) some things are in English, but things like when I save my config, the confirmation is in Chinese. It's close enough to work for me.My copy is in english. (Android) I just used it a few minutes ago to adjust my light settings.
I wouldn't say it is the most intuitive or feature rich app to use, but once you understand how to connect to the lights it does what it needs to.
I find the QR Code generator on BeanAnimal's site to be very useful:

Disclaimer : I'm somewhat tech challenged. How does one use this generator? I read directions but don't see how to actually download and use it. ThanksI find the QR Code generator on BeanAnimal's site to be very useful:

It looks like this doesn't work for the mini's as they only have 3 color channels. The generator creates a big QR code in real time as you make adjustments.
Then in the Noopsyche app you click on the 3 dots at the top right corner of the time point setting screen. In the menu will be an "Import" option.
Click on import, and the app opens up a camera to take a pic of the QR code.

Yeah, I have a mini on a smaller tank, and have to do it manually. Like you said, it isn't quite a tedious with only 3 channels. It looks like this doesn't work for the mini's as they only have 3 color channels.
But then, it's a little easier to set up just 3 color channels in the app, too.![]()
I'm running the mini on my 32g biocube and I had to actually dial the settings WAY down from the LPS auto setting. My BTA was trying to hide under rocks.Yeah, I have a mini on a smaller tank, and have to do it manually. Like you said, it isn't quite a tedious with only 3 channels.
Ha, same! I'm running it on a QT tank to grow algae for fish that need it, and have to keep it turned down pretty low. I think I hit 20% at the peak.I'm running the mini on my 32g biocube and I had to actually dial the settings WAY down from the LPS auto setting. My BTA was trying to hide under rocks.![]()
I don't have a PAR meater, so I'm using my corals as one. My zoanthids love soaking up the light, but my anemone is a bit more sensitive.Ha, same! I'm running it on a QT tank to grow algae for fish that need it, and have to keep it turned down pretty low. I think I hit 20% at the peak.
The 3 pro7s I have on my 120 peak out at 40% right now. But the tank is only a couple of months old, and I am trying to balance the algae growth with the take up from my fish and CUC. I need to measure the PAR, but haven't done so yet since I don't have any coral in the tank yet.

@7of9 what are your settings? I am setting up two minis on a 30 gallon jbj rimless and the highest I went to was 30 on my blue and violets. Still too high for a corals/nems down the road?
