This is why I am researching add on diffusers for black boxes.

I run the florecent light diffusers from home depot on my tank. Light is 14 inches off the rim and the diffuser sits on the rim
Kills all disco effect.

So do you recommend waiting until they hit stateside? I'm probably a month or more away from needing lighting.

I would wait and that way you can just buy here in the USA. Plus that give you time and see how we set our K7's up on different kinds of tanks.
