Hey there, I will be setting up a 60x4x24 inch peninsula-style mixed reef tank, but it might be more on the SPS dominant side. So, I was wondering how many NooPsyche lights I will need for even coverage and for good SPS growth even after a year or two when the SPS corals have grown out. I am from Bangladesh, but the problem is that these lights are not available in this country, so the next time I visit the US I will have to get them. But I am worried that since it is 120 volts in the US and 220 volts in Bangladesh it will be a problem. Do you think it will be a problem? Please let me know, thank you!

I'm in Thailand and bought one of those light here and just plugged it in with no problem...I'd play it safe and use an adapter though vs risking frying it in half a second if you buy it out of country

Ok thank you! Also what are the results? Do you think the lights are good? Also are there any other lights under 700 usd to light a 5 foot reef tank?

I see thanks! Is the light good? How do the corals grow? Also what are some other good lights under 700 usd for a 5 foot reef tank?
Dollar for dollar, I think this is one of the best lights out there. The controller I have is a bit janky and lacking the modern features however they have come out with a newer version with a wifi app. The only other lights that I have heard of on the cheaper end that have a lot of following are the ai primes and spectra black boxes on prime.

I see thanks! But wouldn’t it be too expensive to use ai primes? As I will need quite a few. Also I heard someone say that Noopsyche are very bad but for the most part I have been getting good reviews. If you can, can you please send me a pic of your tank under that light?

I think they're really good quality lights and yes I have SPS they grow well under them...as for your other question, I'm really not sure about the price vs coverage vs quality of other lights for that size tank... honestly id use Amazon to get ideas about specific lights like you did in this thread and ask about the specific light after you've seen the reviews and know the price first...I would recommend Noopsyche K7 V3 lights though for the record

I am in the same boat. Great light spread. I was having great growth until I had a nutrient spike crash my tank. I am in the process of rebuilding. Overall very happy. I actually turned in my Radion G5 Pros for these and did not miss a beat when i did the switch over.

I have two complaints..and they are more mere annoyances than complaints:

1. The transformer / heat sink on this is pretty huge. As such, it is going to take up wall space on your controller board.
2. The controller is/was janky..but once you get past set it and forget it mode..who cares.

Cant go wrong with the Noops. Have them over 3 different systems.
