I was thinking of getting them. Do any of you guys have any experience with them? Do I need to buy any things separate?

I have 4. I ordered 4 lights, the remote and 4 of the x shaped hangers. I placed them in a Coral Cover.

They have been going a few months now. I have them on a 180
I turned the Coral Covers off for this pic.
They look like this next to a tank with 14k MH and T5s and they are only running 56%
You can make them look any way you want. I dont do blue.

They work fine for me

My tank is 30in x 12in x 22in, would it be good for that depth?
Do I need to buy anything to put them on or additional things for the lights?

I have 3 over a 5 ft tank. Corals absolutely love them. Controller is not the best there is. Easy enough to use.

These lights produce a lot of par. Yes. But what coral are you looking to keep? Sps I recommend 2. But you can get away with 1

I only have some Zoas and candy cane coral and a hammer.

I run 5 @noopsyche lights in total between 2 tanks. Absolutely thrilled with these lights for the price. You can adjust them however you'd like and they have a really good shimmering effect. My corals have taken off since switching from my vipars. Best of luck to you

1 light 8 to 10 inches above will be plenty powerful enough for lps. You'll have shaded sides most likely.

You'll like them.. Lightweight and has good depth penetration and shimmer

Get them, they are great lights, you only need one controller to run multiple lights

Yes you either need the arm from them or some way to hang them like I did.

I was super surprised at the quality of the arm that came with the light I won. I am also hanging my fixtures. I may buy another If I can convince my wife that my kid needs a tank

How much extra par do you get from aquatic life LEDs (assuming that is what I am looking at on the sides)?

It is.
I don't know. I never measure par.
I was avoiding bulb replacements. 8 36inch T5 bulbs would be $160 each replacement.
They are very bright. I am only running them at 20% to match the appearance of the T-5s on the other tank. I was making sure I had even coverage on the tank.
