Thinking of ordering a NooPshyche K7 Mini 60W - doesn't say on their website where they ship from - can anyone chime in here, and how quick are they for shipping?

Thanks

It's slow. Ships from China and sits for a while in customs. Great light if you can wait a bit to get it. The tracking page is in another language, presumably Mandarin, but I managed to find the language button at the top right and switch to english, where you watch it sit in NY and New Jersey for days and days.

I’ve ordered from Noopsyche several times and the shipping has been slow for me from China. I asked about the shipping of my last order and they said something about it taking longer because of the new lights having batteries in them.
They make a good product for the price and I strongly recommend them as long as you’re not in a hurry.

For me the longest part was for them to actually ship them out. I think it was a week and a half to 2 weeks to actually get an item shipped confirmation. The delivery itself took less than a week from china to Canada.

Within a few weeks they will start to ship from the states ;)

I know on the first model of the lights they had US distributors but that ended badly and they just started selling directly and shipping from China
Are they going to start have someone in the US be a distributor again?

Yours truly :)

so will you be selling the lights or just a shipper?

Mine was China ship and I had it in 9 days

I just put this light on my Evo and I'm really pleased. I used the stock light, the Fluval Marine 3.0, 2x 21LEDusa bars and now this Noopsyche mini. Each of those was an upgrade--just wish I'd figured this out on day 1!

I also have an AI Prime 16HD over a 10g cube, and I would probably switch to the Noopsyche on that tank too if I didn't already have everything dialed in so much.

Thanks for sharing! Regarding the Noopsyche mini - I"m assuming that the light can display whites assuming one doesn't want too blue a color?

It has a high yield of blue and white which is easy to manage and adjust via the app

I've ordered twice and received mine pretty fast. Last ordered was place 12/24 late in the day and the package arrived 1/3. I thought that was pretty good from China considering Amazon is now taking a week to get stuff to me.
That's messed up. I ordered Dec 18 just got it today. Took 2 weeks just to get shipping

In my experience ordering from China on various websites, every shipment can be completely different from the next one. I've ordered the same thing from the same vendor and it took a different shipper and route into the US. One came super fast and the other took almost a month.
Near as I can tell with a lot of this stuff they have a site that's basically like Expedia but for shipping. They choose (or a computer does) whoever they want from the list who might be cheap and send it on it's way. My guess is most farm it out to a 3rd party shipping service that takes care of it all for them. Most of the time it works out OK. There are a couple of notorious distribution/warehouse centers used for the transfer from air to ground freight here (looking at you Pitney Bowes) in the states where packages can fall into an abyss. Sometimes they're found a month later and others just "vanish". Luckily mine reappeared after about a month.

Bulk freight (LTL) domestic shipping can be the same way. We use a 3rd party shipping service at my job and can pick whoever is the cheapest or has the options needed. It can be a convoluted mess even domestically. Thankfully I never deal with international. yuk

Lights are officially in the states :)
