What I love about about reefing is the challenge, the new friendships you make when you got to pick up a frag from someone you've never met and then your best friends after that. And I love how everyone one is will to help you when you have a problem. I also love reefing because I like to help new reefer get going and show the how to do thing right and not make the same mistakes I've made because I have been reefing now for about 15 years on and off. But now I'm back in it for life. Or until life doesn't allow me to be. Another reason I love reefing is all the different type of coral and how some brown stick will turn into the most colorful coral you have ever seen.

PS. Don't judge my punctuation. Lol

There is so much about it that it’s hard to list what I love most. I love the fish, inverts, and coral. I love that with a reef tank I’m pretty much an underwater gardener that’s tends to his crop everyday. I love the building, planning, and follow through of a new system. I love researching, finding new information, and the overall vast information and knowledge there is to be continuously gained in this hobby. Ya, i guess I just love being a reefer.

I particularly like the commraderie that is Reefers. Most are willing to help and share knowledge and experiences.

I love every time I look at my tank. i see something new crawling or moving around in there and wondering.....how did that get in there!

I love watching all the tiny invertebrates and hitchhikers that you never even know you had. I could spend hours sitting in front of the tank looking for new little worms hiding in the rockwork or some tiny crustaceans sneaking around. It's like getting to see a whole ecosystem living in your home.

Right now what I love is watching my Clowns in qt try to decide which pvc fitting they want to live in
Really what I love the most is the community. It was amazing to me how many people around the entire world are ready and willing to help others and share in this wonderful hobby.

I just started my first reef tank after being out of it for 15yrs. I miss just watching the tank and can't wait for it to get up and going. Added my first fish yesterday.
