Hey everyone I recently started dosing nopox as my po4 is high 0.12-0.3
But my no3 is 0 or undetectable by using red seas nitrate pro test it stays clear after the 9 minutes

Has anyone got any suggestions I feed quite heavy pellets everyday and frozen 1-2 times per week and reef roids 1-2 times per week

Should I give up with nopox and try gfo?

Thanks guys I was thinking it would be a good idea to stop nopox and start on the gfo I will let nitrates rise abit and start

I’m using the Hanna phosphorus ulr checker
I understand it’s a big swing and any advice on how to stop it swinging so much would be great maybe I am feeding too much but I don’t have any algae apart from 2 tiny patches of brown hair algae

Algae isn’t always a good indicator of nutrients

Also do you run gfo
Phosphate shouldn’t be jumping that much without something affecting it

I was dosing nopox but as of today I have stopped and I am going to add gfo in small amount in a reactor tomorrow after I go to my lfs for a pump
