I've heard 'it's bacteria', I've heard 'it's algaecide'...
Looking at the info, it's:
95% bacteria blends
1% aspartic acid
.5% vinegar
3.5% other ingredients
Soooo... that tells me it's maybe just an AIO carbon dosing...
aspartic: C4H7NO4 has no P, but does have N, so there's to keep the balance in addition to the C.
It comes with bacteria to assist.
I'm curious about the 3.5% 'other' ingredients.
Someone said it smells like eucalyptus? That in itself is a natural herbicide iirc as well as anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-viral....
Kinda curious now to see how it does. I myself use nopox. After trying multiple application methods, I under-dose by a good amount, include calcium nitrate, and dose both hourly.
Keeps everything super clean. Though I believe nopox engages not only bacteria but also fungus/yeast..
Might order some and try a bit myself.
