Hey reefers I’ve been dosing nopox for a couple months and the tank has stopped being cloudy when dosing but the tank smells like nopox is that normal?

You have pretty close to the volume of water I have and I dose 30ml a day so we have a close comparison. I have a pretty huge bioload so along with the nopox I also keep phosgaurd in the sump which between the 2 and all the rock I have my nitrates stay below 10 and phosphates stay low. I've been using nopox for 6 years now and the 1 time I added to much I got the cloudy water for a day from the bacterial outbreak caused by the od of it. Ive never had my tank smell like nopox so there's definitely to much. What's your fish load? Maybe try lowering the dose to 20ml and see what results you get.
Here's a vid of my tank so you get an idea of the amount of animals I have and note I have tons of rock in the dt and sump. And the Japanese Dragon Eel that didn't make an appearance during that vid.
