What is everyone using to hold the nori and seaweed?? I have a veggie clip and my powder brown tang takes the whole strip of nori all at once. then it floats into my overflows. I was wondering if anyone has a good method or secret to keeping the nori in place.

I got one of these:

They're spendier than the regular clips or rubber bands, but it has really cut down on giant floating sheets of nori going straight into the overflow. The fish can only really attack it in small squares, which is also fun to watch. I feel like it keeps them occupied for a bit longer.

Here's a crappy, really blue video I got the other morning actually. They go nuts:

You could try cutting the Nori into 1/4" x 1/4" pieces and feed it the same way you would flake food. Make sure to soak the pieces in a cup of water for a few minutes beforehand though. This will soften them up a little and keep them from floating into the overflow. GL.

I've used the expensive clips and the cheap ones one the saltwater gets to the suction cup they don't stay on the glass so I just buy the cheap ones and replace frequently

I use the Innovative Marine Gourmet Grazer Like it keeps the Nori from floating around all over. To train a tang to it I just hang a piece of the Nori out of one side of the Grazer and over time move it totally into the device. Works great over the last 32 years keeping tang this is one of the best solutions for feeding Nori I have found.

Two little fishes clip, cut a piece of nori 1 x 4 fold the nori 4 times and place the nori in the clip and the attack starts, my tangs and 8 liner warsse love it

I solved the problem..got a cheapo clip removed the suction cap and tied fishing line to it but also cut off 1/2"pvc pipe run the fishing line through stuck a small pebble in it to weigh it down and into the tank it goes.I cut seaweed sheet in half ,fold it a few times and cut strips into it about 1/8" strips attach to nori clip best thing ever and don't have to put my hands into the water to get it out

I use squares and rip into 4 smaller squares, just smaller is easier to control. Fold very tightly then again the opposite way and secure folded yet again in a V shape. Consumed far faster and efficiently I’ve observed.
Take suction cup off. Attach fishing line or plastic attachment and secure to rim or brace at any depth preferred, can be easily remove when consumed, I do not add remaining algae as will increase nitrates sitting and rotting on a rock.

Wow. This is oldddddd.......... sorry
