Ok so just how the title says. Ever since I started feeding my regal tang julians sea veggies purple seaweed this has started growing. Is it possible for small pieces to land on rock and spread? Anyone heard of it doing that. Thanks

Looks like dinos or cyano. Siphon it out. How’s your params? The seaweed may be causing your tang to poop more and increasing the bio load, thus increasing nitrates and phosphates.

How big of a sheet and how long is it in there before it's eaten? I usually only put 1/3-12 sheet, whatever will get eaten in a day and only put one in 1-2 times a week.

You might be right, tbh I haven’t checked as tomorrow is my weekly 10% WC and need to pick up a new Hanna phosphate ulr. Anything I should add to my filtration as it’s in back. old skool rsm250. Thanks

I put about 1/4 piece since only my tang eats it. Tomorrow is WC I’ll take a new toothbrush and siphon what I can. Ps i feed nori about 3 times a week not sure if that’s a lot. Since my tang is a monster and will out eat everyone

Ya, that's really high. I see a few water changes in your near future.
Just did my WC and added seachem phosguard. Used a toothbrush to remove most of the algae off the rocks. Will check again in like 6 hrs too see if it went down any points.
