I asked about feeding lettuce to tangs not too long ago. My fish seemed to enjoy the romaine just fine, so now I'm wondering about using kale from the grocery store (figuring its seaweed and healthier than lettuce). Any thoughts? Also, how does this compare nutritionally with the more commonly fed nori sheets?

I haven't seen kale being used but I know the Newport Aquarium feed lettuce to their tangs.

LRS fish food has broccoli tips so I guess that could work too.

A quick google search on their nutrition makes me think you could just make a salad of all three and blend them together. I am having trouble finding people feeding kale to the fish but If I find more I'll share it.
